Summary

This study tested a new device called PointCheck that uses light to check for dangerously low white blood cell levels (neutropenia) in cancer patients without needing a needle. 81 cancer patients receiving chemotherapy were enrolled. The main goal was to see how easy the device is to use, both in the clinic and at home.
