This study is watching 600 adults who are already scheduled for a standard procedure called POEM (peroral endoscopic myotomy) to treat swallowing or stomach muscle problems. Researchers will record how well the surgery works over time, including symptom relief and any side effects like acid reflux. No experimental treatments are given—just careful tracking of normal medical care.
