NCT ID NCT07814768
First seen Sep 11, 2026 · Last updated Sep 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
Researchers are testing a four-week online prenatal education program that combines eight educational modules with follow-up podcasts. The study enrolls 60 pregnant women at 8 to 12 weeks of gestation and randomly assigns them to receive the program or routine prenatal care. The goal is to see whether the program improves empowerment, healthy lifestyle behaviors, and quality of life during pregnancy, measured at three points through 32 weeks.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- A four-week online prenatal education program based on the Health Promotion Model, with eight educational modules and follow-up podcasts
- What this could lead to
- If it works, this could give pregnant women a flexible, at-home way to build healthy habits and feel more in control during pregnancy.
- What could go wrong
- This is a small study of 60 women, so results may not apply broadly. The program relies on participants listening to podcasts and completing modules, and some may drop out or not engage fully.
