Summary
This study tests whether using a bedside heart ultrasound (POCUS) to guide fluid and medication decisions improves outcomes for 140 adults with liver cirrhosis and severe sepsis or septic shock. Participants will be randomly assigned to POCUS-guided care or standard guideline-based care. The goal is to see if POCUS reduces the amount of fluid needed and improves survival and recovery.
