Summary
This study will follow about 2,700 adults with pneumonia to learn why some people get much sicker while others recover. Researchers will track patients from the start of their illness through recovery, using medical tests and health records. The goal is to find better ways to predict who is at risk for severe pneumonia and death, which could help doctors make faster, more accurate treatment decisions.
