Summary
This study compares two common antibiotics—azithromycin and doxycycline—for adults hospitalized with pneumonia. Researchers want to see which one helps patients spend fewer days in the hospital and recover faster. The trial includes 1,120 participants who are already receiving standard pneumonia treatment.
