Summary
This study compared an advanced pneumatic compression device (APCD) to usual care for managing lymphedema (swelling) in 236 head and neck cancer survivors. The device uses air pressure to reduce swelling and fibrosis. Researchers measured changes in internal and external swelling, symptoms, and quality of life over time.
