Summary
This study is testing whether adding the drug plinabulin to the standard drug pegfilgrastim helps white blood cell counts return to normal faster after a stem cell transplant for multiple myeloma. The goal is to reduce the dangerous period of low white blood cells (neutropenia) when patients are most vulnerable to infections. The trial involves 17 patients who have undergone this specific transplant procedure.
