Cancer patients test which drainage method hurts less

Summary

This study aims to find out if draining fluid from around the lungs using a gravity bag causes less chest pain than using a vacuum bottle. Researchers will enroll 200 cancer patients who need a permanent chest catheter to manage fluid buildup. The goal is to improve comfort and quality of life by identifying the less painful drainage technique.
