Summary

This study looked at whether structured play activities can reduce anxiety in children aged 4-10 receiving chemotherapy and their parents. 62 children and their parents took part in recreational play during treatment. Anxiety levels were measured before and after play. The goal was to see if this simple, non-drug approach could improve emotional well-being during a tough medical experience.
