Can a Plastic-Free month cleanse your body and boost health?

NCT ID NCT06571994

Summary

This study tested whether reducing everyday plastic exposure for four weeks could lower harmful chemicals in the body and improve health markers. Researchers provided 60 adults with heart and metabolic risk factors either plastic-free food and products or no change. They measured chemicals in urine and blood to see if the low-plastic lifestyle made a difference.
