Summary
This study aims to understand why some people develop serious eye damage from Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine), a drug used for lupus and arthritis, while most do not. Researchers will compare the genes of people who have experienced this eye damage with those who have taken the drug without problems. The goal is to identify genetic factors that might predict who is at risk, potentially helping doctors make safer treatment decisions in the future.
