First seen Nov 25, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tested whether a daily plant protein supplement (Nutrilite All-Plant Protein Booster) could improve muscle function and ease arthritis symptoms in 139 adults aged 50 to 70 with mild to moderate sarcopenia (muscle loss) and osteoarthritis. Participants took the supplement or a placebo twice a day for 12 weeks. Researchers measured changes in physical performance (like walking speed and balance) and joint pain/stiffness. The goal was to see if the supplement could help maintain strength and mobility in aging adults.
