Summary
This study tested a concentrated plant compound (CPC) as a nutritional supplement to standard diarrhea treatment in 30 people with stomach, esophageal, or colorectal cancer who had diarrhea from chemotherapy. The goal was to see if CPC could help stop the diarrhea faster. Results focused on how many patients had normal stools within 12 hours after taking CPC.
