Could herbal mouthwash be your next cavity fighter?
NCT ID NCT04033263
Summary
This small study tested whether mouth rinses containing plant extracts could help prevent tooth decay and erosion. Twelve healthy adults tried different rinses, including a placebo, while wearing special oral appliances with test tooth samples. Researchers measured how well the rinses protected the tooth material and analyzed saliva and mouth bacteria to understand how they might work.
