Summary
This pilot study tested whether a plant-based whole-foods meal delivery service is practical for multiple myeloma patients receiving an autologous stem cell transplant. The goal was to see if patients would eat the meals and if it could improve gut microbiome diversity, which is often lost during transplant and linked to worse outcomes. The study enrolled 26 patients and measured enrollment rates, sample collection rates, and how well patients tolerated the diet.
