Doctors prescribe veggies to fight hunger
NCT ID NCT06614920
Summary
This study is testing if a 'food prescription' program can help families who struggle to afford healthy food. It will provide plant-based foods like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, along with nutrition education, to 100 low-income families. Researchers will track if this improves the families' diets and reduces their experience of food insecurity.
