First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study looks at how cells in the placenta die or clean themselves in women with pregnancy complications like preeclampsia or poor fetal growth. Researchers will examine placenta samples from 50 women after delivery to understand these processes better. The goal is to find new ways to screen for and manage blood vessel risks in future pregnancies.
