Cord blood boost: new study aims to help tiniest newborns

Summary
This study tests three methods of giving premature babies (born at 32 weeks or earlier) extra blood from the umbilical cord right after birth. The goal is to see which method best improves the baby's blood health and reduces early-life complications. 160 babies will be enrolled and monitored in the neonatal intensive care unit.
