Placenta-Based bandages tested for stubborn wounds that Won't heal

NCT ID NCT07364630

Summary

This study is testing whether adding human placental membrane products to standard wound care helps heal chronic diabetic foot ulcers and venous leg ulcers that have not responded to standard treatment alone. It is enrolling 50 adults whose ulcers did not heal in a previous trial. The main goal is to see if more wounds fully close within 12 weeks and if the treatment improves patients' quality of life.
