Blood test could flag babies in trouble before birth
NCT ID NCT07258329
Summary
This study is investigating whether simple blood tests that measure certain placental markers can help predict which babies might experience distress during labor. It involves 428 pregnant women and aims to see if these markers are linked to signs of fetal compromise seen on the baby's heart rate monitor. The goal is to give doctors a better tool to identify at-risk pregnancies and plan for a safer delivery.
