Summary
This study aimed to better understand preeclampsia, a serious high blood pressure condition in pregnancy. Researchers compared placenta and umbilical cord tissue from 39 women with preeclampsia to 39 women with normal pregnancies. They looked for specific proteins to see if their levels are linked to the condition and to the health of the newborns.
