Summary
This study tested whether injections of cells from the placenta could improve blood flow and help heal foot ulcers in people with diabetes and blocked leg arteries. About 24 adults were to receive three monthly shots of the cell treatment or a placebo. The study was withdrawn before enrolling anyone, so no results are available.
