Brain scans reveal hidden power of placebo in stroke healing

NCT ID NCT05832567

Summary

This study aims to understand how the brain responds to placebo treatments during stroke recovery. Researchers will examine 56 people who had a stroke at least 6 months ago, using brain scans to measure activity during different types of placebo treatments. The goal is to learn how these effects work in the brain to potentially improve future stroke rehabilitation therapies.
