Summary
This study looks at adults who carry one copy of the PKU gene but are not sick themselves. Researchers want to see if their brains handle the amino acid phenylalanine differently than people without the gene. Participants will take phenylalanine or a placebo and then have brain scans and thinking tests to check for changes.
