New hope for patients with Fast-Growing blood cancer
NCT ID NCT07220187
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a new drug called pirtobrutinib to standard chemotherapy works better for people with Richter transformation, a serious condition where a slow-growing blood cancer turns into a fast-growing lymphoma. About 102 adults who haven't had treatment for this transformation will receive either the standard chemo alone or the standard chemo plus pirtobrutinib. The goal is to see if the combination helps patients live longer without their cancer getting worse.
