Chemo fog inside the belly: new hope for ovarian cancer?

NCT ID NCT07514494

First seen Apr 12, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a special chemotherapy spray (PIPAC) directly into the abdomen during standard treatment can help women with advanced ovarian cancer. About 160 women aged 18-75 will be randomly assigned to get either standard chemo plus one PIPAC or standard chemo plus repeated PIPAC. The goal is to see if repeated PIPAC leads to more complete tumor removal during surgery and better long-term disease control.
