Spray-On chemo: new hope for Tough-to-Treat abdominal cancers?

NCT ID NCT04329494

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety of a new, minimally invasive procedure called PIPAC. It delivers chemotherapy as a fine mist directly into the abdomen for people with advanced ovarian, uterine, stomach, colon, or appendix cancers that have spread to the abdominal lining. The goal is to see if this targeted approach can control the cancer while potentially reducing side effects compared to standard treatments.
