ER study aims to cut unnecessary antibiotics for kids with pneumonia

Summary
This study looks at whether a new approach can safely reduce antibiotic use in children aged 6 months to 18 years who have mild pneumonia and are sent home from the emergency room. About 700 children will take part. The goal is to give antibiotics only when truly needed, while still making sure kids recover well.
