New study aims to cut unnecessary antibiotics in kids with pneumonia

Summary
This study looks at how to best treat children aged 6 months to 18 years who come to the emergency room with pneumonia but are not sick enough to stay in the hospital. The goal is to see if a new approach can reduce the use of antibiotics that may not be needed, while still helping kids get better. About 698 children will take part, and their recovery and any side effects will be tracked.
