Can a 'Smart' insulin pump help those struggling most with diabetes?
NCT ID NCT06453928
Summary
This pilot study aims to test if a hybrid closed-loop insulin pump system can help adults with poorly controlled Type 1 diabetes. It will enroll 40 diverse participants from Los Angeles who are not currently using an insulin pump. The main goal is to see if a larger trial is feasible in this high-need group and to understand what helps or hinders effective use of the technology.
