Swallow a camera instead of a scope? new test aims to make colon checks easier
NCT ID NCT04049357
Summary
This study tested if using a small, swallowable camera capsule could improve colon cancer screening. Over 2,000 people in Denmark's national screening program were involved. The goal was to see if this easier, less invasive method could get more people screened and reduce the need for traditional colonoscopies, which carry a small risk of complications.
