Summary
This study tests a program called PILI 'Āina that combines lifestyle lessons, home gardens, and cooking classes to help Native Hawaiians manage type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and obesity. About 210 overweight or obese Native Hawaiian adults with these conditions will take part. The goal is to see if the program improves diet quality, weight, blood pressure, and blood sugar levels.
