New study aims to sharpen genetic testing for breast cancer treatment

Summary
This study looks at different ways to test for PIK3CA gene mutations in people with metastatic breast cancer. The goal is to see which testing method works best so doctors can choose the right treatment for each patient. About 100 adults with a specific type of breast cancer (hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative) will take part.
