Can a weekly pill preserve your brain through menopause?
NCT ID NCT05664477
Summary
This study is testing whether a weekly plant-based supplement called PhytoSERM can help maintain brain metabolism and thinking skills in women going through menopause. Researchers will compare the supplement to a placebo pill in 100 women aged 45-60 who experience frequent hot flashes. The main goal is to see if the supplement changes how the brain uses energy over 6 months, which could help prevent the cognitive decline some women experience during this life stage.
