New remote program aims to boost activity in type 2 diabetes

Summary

This study tests an 8-week remote program that combines positive psychology and motivational interviewing to help people with type 2 diabetes increase their physical activity. 280 adults with type 2 diabetes who are not very active will participate. The program includes weekly sessions and text messages to support lasting behavior change.
