Walking buddies for prostate cancer: a new study tests peer coaching to boost activity

Summary
This study tests whether a personalized physical activity program, combined with support from a trained peer (another prostate cancer patient who is already active) and a doctor's prescription, can help inactive prostate cancer patients become and stay more active. The goal is to improve long-term health and reduce the risk of cancer recurrence. About 850 participants will be followed for 12 months.
