First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a structured physical activity program can reduce how much time head and neck cancer patients spend sitting or lying down. Researchers will track 96 patients over 18 months, measuring their movement, quality of life, and fatigue. Half the patients will follow the exercise program, while the other half will receive standard care.

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
physical activity program
What this could lead to
If it works, this could show that a structured exercise program helps head and neck cancer patients become less sedentary and feel better during recovery.
What could go wrong
This is a small, single-center study with 96 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The program requires internet access and motivation, which may limit participation.
