Cash for quitting? study tests money and texts to help older smokers
NCT ID NCT06234475
Summary
This study is testing two ways to help older, low-income smokers in Hong Kong quit. It will see if receiving supportive text messages on a phone or getting cash payments for staying smoke-free makes a difference. The trial involves 1,200 participants and will check if they have quit using breath and saliva tests over a year.
