Can a simple phone call save lives after a stroke?

NCT ID NCT04404166

Summary

This study tested whether a nurse-guided phone support program could help people in Ghana control their blood pressure better after having a stroke. It involved 500 recent stroke survivors with high blood pressure. The goal was to see if regular check-ins via phone could prevent future strokes and heart problems by improving medication use and self-care.
