Summary

This study looks at whether a protein called phoenixin-14 is linked to heart structure changes seen in some babies born to mothers with diabetes. Researchers will measure phoenixin-14 levels in the blood and perform heart ultrasounds on 84 newborns. The goal is to understand the connection, not to test a treatment.
