New study tests early migraine drug to halt pain before it begins

Summary
This study looks at whether taking ubrogepant during the earliest signs of a migraine (called prodrome) can prevent the headache from becoming moderate or severe. About 189 adults with 4-10 migraine days per month will take the drug as prescribed by their doctor and track their symptoms for up to 13 weeks. The goal is to see if early treatment can stop the worst pain.
