First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested different ways to provide HIV prevention medication (PrEP) through local pharmacies in Kenya. Over 5,800 people participated across 60 pharmacies. The goal was to see if offering PrEP directly at pharmacies, instead of referring people to clinics, helps more people start and continue taking it.
