Can a simple letter stop the flu and prevent strokes?
NCT ID NCT07161739
Summary
This study is testing whether sending reminder letters from a local pharmacist can encourage more adults in Alberta, Canada, to get their flu shot or travel vaccines. Researchers will mail one of two different informational letters to 20,000 pharmacy customers to see which message is more effective. They will then check vaccination records and see if getting vaccinated leads to fewer hospital visits for flu or strokes in the following six months.
