Summary

This study looks at whether extra education from a pharmacist can help people on antipsychotic medication avoid weight gain and other metabolic problems. About 148 adults aged 18-60 with mental disorders like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder will take part. Some will get standard care, while others will also meet with a pharmacist for lifestyle counseling at the start and after 4, 8, and 12 weeks.
