Summary
This early-phase trial tests whether combining a traditional Chinese herbal formula (Yiqi Huoxue Jiedu) with bacteriophages (viruses that kill bacteria) can clear drug-resistant bacteria from the lungs of 240 adults with severe pneumonia. The goal is to improve recovery and lower death rates. Participants must have confirmed drug-resistant infection and meet specific diagnostic criteria.
