First seen Dec 26, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tested a nasal spray called PH94B to see if it could quickly reduce anxiety in adults with social anxiety disorder during a public speaking challenge. About 228 participants were asked to give a short speech after using the spray or a placebo. The trial was stopped early, but it aimed to find a fast-acting, non-sedating option for managing sudden anxiety.
