First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests a new MRI technique that highlights acidic areas in the brain, which may contain hidden glioblastoma cells not seen on standard scans. About 18 adults with newly diagnosed or recurrent glioblastoma will have surgery using this method to see if it is safe and can remove more tumor. The goal is to improve survival by targeting hard-to-see cancer cells.
