First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a hormone pill called dienogest works as well as standard hormone injections for collecting eggs in women with endometriosis who want to preserve their fertility. Researchers compared the number of mature eggs collected from 130 women using either dienogest or standard treatments. The goal was to see if dienogest is a good alternative for protecting fertility in these patients.
