First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests a new oral painkiller called PF614 for people who have moderate to severe pain after a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty). About 320 adults will take either PF614 or a placebo before surgery and every 12 hours for up to 4 days. Researchers will measure pain levels and how much extra pain medicine is needed to see if PF614 works better than a placebo.
