New shot could help raise platelet levels in chronic blood disorder
NCT ID NCT05070845
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called PF-06835375 in adults with moderate to severe primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), a condition where the immune system destroys platelets, raising bleeding risk. The goal is to see if the drug can safely increase platelet counts. About 91 participants with persistent or chronic ITP will receive multiple injections and be monitored for response.
